PD SERIES - PLASTIC SHELL, PANEL
& PC MOUNT
Switchcraft now offers the PD Series with a solder cup option. This new option is perfect for panel mount, non-PC board applications. The solder cups offer a generous area to solder. Available in male and female, the receptacles can be mounted from the front or rear of the panel. See the back page for part numbers. This new option is in addition to all of the previous termination options available with the PD Series.

Housing: Black molded thermoplastic, glass-filled.
Ground Pin: Copper alloy.
Stamped Terminals/Contacts: Copper alloy, electrotinned.
Screw Machine Terminals/Pins: Copper alloy, silver-plated.
BIFURCATED PC TERMINALS
Bifurcation configuration for PC terminals on selected connectors offers these advantages.
1. Provides convenient snap-in retention for mounting.
2. Holds connector securely to PCB during wavesoldering.
3. Adds strength to all terminal connections by solder “wicking” through PCB and up sides of terminals.
