MDSH1RA
Switchcraft's hybrid surface mount, right-angle, 2-conductor Micro Jax^Ž offer optional through-board grounding. Like Switchcraft's other Micro-D jacks, this series features
molded high temperature resistant housing which protects all internal parts. Choose panel/chassis or PC board mounting in rows on .351 inch centers. The bent PC
terminals need only .345 inch clearance above PC board. Solder lugs need only .382 inch behind panel clearance.
MDP21RA
Same as above but with straight PC terminals for
through-board grounding.

* Tip springs grip mating plugs positively
* Mates with Switchcraft Micro Plug^Ž numbers 850,
855, and 880
* Similar to Switchcraft MDSL-2A-RA Jack
MATERIALS
Housing: Thermoplastic, UL 94V-0.
Threaded Bushing: Nickel-plated copper alloy.
Tip Spring: Copper alloy.
Sleeve/Ground Terminal: Copper alloy tin-lead with
nickel underplate.
ELECTRICAL
Contact Resistance: .010 ohms maximum (spring to
plug).* .020 ohm maximum (after humidity, durability
exposure), .10 ohm maximum (after salt spray).
Shunt Resistance: .010 ohm maximum*.
Dielectric Withstanding Voltage: 250V AC.*
Shunt Tension: 60 grams minimum*.
MECHANICAL
Life: 10,000 insertion/withdrawal cycles, minimum.
Insertion/Withdrawal Forces: 11 ounces insertion,
11 ounce minimum withdrawal.
ENVIRONMENTAL
Thermal Range: -55°C to +85°C (non-operating); -20°C
rto +65°C (operating).
Thermal Shock: Per MIL-STD-202, method 107.
Humidity: Per MIL-STD-202, method 106.
Salt Spray: Per MIL-STD-202, method 101.
*MDSH1RA: Right-angle solder lugs and #10-48
threaded bushing for chassis/panel mount. Mounts
in .203 inch diameter hole in chassis/panels up to
.063 inch thick.
