Switchcraft® is a U.S. manufacturer of connectors, jacks, plugs, molded cable assemblies, patchbays, and switches. Our products are used in a wide variety of industries including medical, GPS, process control, transportation, homeland security, broadcast and pro audio. We currently have an opening for an experienced Customer Service representative at our Chicago office.
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing service and support to distributors, OEM customers and outside sales force. The position involves heavy phone and e-mail contact with customers. This individual interfaces with manufacturing, operations, engineering, and accounting in order to provide the highest level of service. Responsibilities of the position include quoting, order processing, expediting and some technical support. Technical/electronic background a plus.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years customer service experience in manufacturing environment
- The ability to handle multiple incoming calls and e-mails
- The ability to multi-task and prioritize their work and time
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent computer skills, Windows and Internet
