As a US manufacturer of connectors and cables, Switchcraft/Conxall continues to grow by releasing innovative new products and working directly with OEM design engineers to solve their biggest connectivity challenges. Currently, we are seeking a Tooling Engineer to join our Conxall team in Villa Park, IL. The Tooling Engineer will design and maintain injection mold tooling and fixture drawings. Currently, we are seeking a Mold Machine Set-Up person to join our team. A Mold Machine Set-up will work with the mold repair supervisor on moving molds. This person will set-up, operate 10 molding machines, and adjust injection mold machines used to mold plastic materials to specified shape. Responsibilities & Duties: This position assembled mold on press bed of molding machine or bolts matrix of unassembled mold to bed and aligns die (attached to ram) with matrix Adjusts stroke of ram, using hand tools. Connects steam, oil or waterline to mold or moves controls to regulate mold temperature Sets machine controls to regulate forming pressure of machine and curing time of plastic in mold Installs knockout pins in mold, using hand tools Starts machine to produce sample products Examines samples for defects, such as bumps, bubbles and scratches, and adjusts machine set-up to eliminate defects This person will be solely responsible to double check to examine all products to make sure there is no defects. Maintenance Technician Conxall, located in Villa Park, Illinois, is a manufacturer of custom designed connectors and cable assemblies. We supply highly engineered harsh environment cable assembly products to the industrial, agricultural, lighting, safety, outdoor recreation, and medical industries. Conxall is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician works under minimal supervision and will inspect, repair and maintain all machinery, plumbing, physical structures and lights, electric wiring and fixes in accordance with blue prints, manuals, and building codes. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals. Responsibilities & Duties: General knowledge of electrical wiring Knowledge of plumbing Maintains all machinery Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment. Performing preventative maintenance. Handling basic repairs and maintenance. Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary. Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them. Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary. Ability to work independently and within a team environment Essential Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
