Description:

Conxall Corporation is a U.S. manufacturer of harsh environment circular connectors, cable assemblies and interconnect solutions.  Our products are used in a wide variety of industries including medical, industrial controls, transportation and homeland security.  We are located in the near Western suburbs of Chicago and are currently seeking a Quality Technician/Inspector that performs product inspections and works with manufacturing operations, engineering, purchasing, tooling and customer service personnel on addressing and resolving internal and external product quality concerns.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and record set up, in-process and final inspections from manufacturing product lines.
  • Perform and record incoming inspection of purchased materials, components and finished goods.  Requires lifting up to 50 LBS.
  • Perform and record product measurements and testing for first article purposes.
  • Assist in the coordination and calibration of measurement instruments and test equipment.
  • Participate in review and approvals of product introductions and or revisions documentation.
  • Create wiring diagrams for operations using part drawings/specifications

 

Requirements:

 

  • Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical School/College preferred.
  • Be able to read and interpret blue print dimensions.
  • Must have good vision and pay close attention to detail.
  • Frequent walking, lifting and bending required during product inspections.
  • Be able to use inspection instruments and equipment (hand micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, pin gages, steel rulers and/or tape measures).
  • Familiar with Quality Systems and ISO guidelines.
  • Familiar with problem solving techniques and methodologies (root cause and corrective actions).
  • Fluent with computers & Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
